Travelgoods.com introduces their environmentally friendly bag initiative
Travelgoods.com will have ready for viewing at the APPA Roadshow (starting in Perth on the 12th March) their new range of environmentally friendly conference bags
The new "PET" range of bags is not only produced using recycled materials, but are also in accordance to the European Union Directive for Restriction of Hazardous Substances 76/769/EEC.
Consumer’s worldwide use and discard millions of plastic soft drink containers every day. Plastic beverage bottles are made with top quality PET (polyethylene terephthalate) resins resulting in the recycled product being superior to lower grades of polyester fibres used in the normal construction of bags. PET bottles are sorted, ground into fine chips, and then cleaned. These chips are then melted and extruded into fibre and woven to create the fabric used in the manufacturing of the bags.
The Travelgoods.com "PET" range of bags contains azo colorants at levels less than 30ppm and cadmium levels less than 100ppm as per the European Union Directive. They are competitively priced and ‘don’t cost the Earth’.
